In a groundbreaking move, Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush has completed his transfer to Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The deal, worth €75 million plus €5 million in bonuses, was finalized after a series of discussions. Marmoush, who has been in superb form with 20 goals and 14 assists this season, will earn a substantial salary of €16-17 million gross per year, a significant rise from his €2 million gross salary at Frankfurt.
The 24-year-old forward, who expressed a strong desire to join the Premier League giants, has signed a five-year deal with City. His arrival adds to an already impressive forward line, further strengthening City’s attacking options.
The move follows a period of negotiations and was confirmed by Eintracht Frankfurt, who confirmed they are “currently in talks with another club regarding the transfer.” Marmoush is set to make his debut for Manchester City soon.
