Israel-France Match: High Security in Budapest Showdown

The upcoming UEFA Nations League match between Israel and France, set for Thursday in Budapest's Bozsik Aréna, is classified as "high-risk" by Hungarian authorities.

Exceptional security measures are being implemented, with multiple checkpoints planned. The Israeli delegation is continuously accompanied by armed agents on Hungarian soil.

The match, taking place in a 9,500-seat stadium, is expected to draw some French supporters. Hungarian authorities aim to prevent incidents like those seen during Israel's September match against Italy, where protesters turned their backs during the Israeli anthem.

Israel continues to play its home games abroad due to the ongoing conflict, with no date set for a return to domestic soil.
