El Hadji Diouf Joins Shabab Al-Khader from Palestine

Former Senegal National Team star, El Hadji Diouf, has decided to come out of retirement for the last two months of the season, and this morning he announced his new destination.

Diouf, who most recently played for Malaysian side Sabah FA, has declared that his decision was only because of the fact the offer came from an extremely exotic place - Shabab Al-Khader of the Palestinian League. In his exclusive interview with BabaGol, Diouf confessed: "It was my dream to join this specific mega-Palestinian side, to qualify for the AFC Champions League and to be featured in the emerging football blog - BabaGol. Especially on such a nice 1st of April morning". Guys wake up. Happy April Fools’ Day fellas.

BabaStickers Around the World

BabaGol is one year old, and that's definitely a reason for a celebration. During this past year, Baba was sharing stories, photos and videos here on the blog, at the Facebook page and throughout Twitter.

One of the most fun things in being BabaGol, is sending our stickers to fans across the world. From here, to there. India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Israel, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Greece, Spain, France, Germany, Finland, Brazil, Argentina and the USA, are among the countries we sent stickers to. A few envelopes haven’t arrived eventually, but the "BabaSpirit" was there. Here’s to enjoying your football club. To enjoying your hometown. To celebrating the fact that the language of football is the one which connects us, football fans around the globe, with no differences of politics, religion, race or gender.

A big thank you goes to our friends Elna and Kobi. Each one has designed a different sticker, both with a good taste, carefully fitted for the certain character of our blog.

With those stickers travelling the world, we have made the first step towards the multicultural home we had in mind. A place where everyone will feel related and connected. Every one. Enjoy the travels!
